At the end of your tenancy, you need to ensure the property is cleaned to a specific standard which is acceptable to your property manager. If the home is not cleaned to the same level as when you moved in, you can expect difficulties getting your bond returned.
A big part of the end-of-lease clean is having your carpets professionally cleaned. This is a real estate agent requirement and can cause unnecessary delays when a budget job has been done. So, it is important that an outstanding result is delivered first time to ensure your bond is returned.

End of lease pest control
If you have had pets at your home, it is a real estate requirement to have a flea treatment as part of your end of lease move out. You may even be expected to have a general pest control treatment if you haven’t had pets in your home, so it’s vital to check your rental lease agreement before vacating.
Once the flea treatment has been completed, you will receive a fully itemised receipt which will list which product has been applied, the quantity, ratio, and where it has been applied. This is a legal requirement with any pest control treatment. You can then give this receipt to your property manager as evidence of your treatment by a licensed qualified pest technician.
Having a flea treatment by a qualified pest management company will ensure you receive your bond back.
